Pricing

The service is offered to Triratna centres and groups on a dana basis. Server costs have to be paid, but we do not seek to make a profit. The hope is that centres that can afford to do so will offer a little more than the base costs so that smaller centres and groups who might not be able to afford as much can still be covered.

To give you an idea, the rough average most centres pay is around £25/month, which more than covers the costs their traffic brings. The actual cost for most centres is around £5-10/month, depending on the amount of traffic.

There are however some separate costs that will need to be covered:

1. You will need to have your own domain (i.e. “yourcentre.com”) - this costs around £10 per year. If you already have a website, you already have one. If you don’t, you can purchase one at any domain registrar (for example, hover.com).
2. If you take bookings, the payment gateway will take a small fee for each transaction. Stripe charges 1.4% +20p per transaction (so, for example, a £100 payment will incur a £1.60 fee) for UK business for cards issued in the UK. PayPal charges a little more, depending on your monthly volume.
